It counts the hours, you plead.
Every hour spent on a case is logged, valued at the firm’s rate and found on the fee invoice. Retainers, disbursements and the signed engagement letter follow the same case. erzog keeps the count, and never rounds.
Time per case
Each team member logs their hours by day, billable or not.
Fees calculated
The billable amount at the case rate, ready for the fee invoice.
Engagement letters signed
The engagement letter signed online, archived with its proof.
Role-based access
Everyone sees their own scope; data is hosted in France.
The case, at the firm’s rate
A case is created like a project: client, hourly rate or fixed fee, assigned team members. Hours attach to it day after day. erzog calculates what is billable and shows what is left to invoice, case by case.
- Case at an hourly rate, a daily rate or a fixed fee
- Rate specific to each case, assigned team members
- Billable amount calculated continuously, left to invoice visible
- Non-billable hours counted: the real cost of the case
Retainers, fees and disbursements on the same invoice
The retainer is requested as a deposit invoice, the fee invoice takes the billable time and deducts the retainer already paid. Disbursements advanced for the case are charged and re-invoiced. erzog tracks every payment.
- Retainer set on the quote, deposit invoice in one click
- Compliant Factur-X fee invoice, continuous numbering
- Disbursements and expenses attached to the case
- Payments tracked, reminders for overdue invoices
The engagement letter signed before the case opens
The engagement letter is a contract in erzog: you attach your template, the client signs online with a confirmation code, and it stays archived with its certificate and audit trail. The case opens on a clear basis.
- Engagement letter attached and signed online
- Proof kept: sealed PDF, certificate, audit log
- Enhanced signature as an option: qualified eIDAS timestamp, the engagement letter’s date holds up in a dispute
- Subscription contracts for recurring clients, recurring invoices
- Full history on the client record: exchanges, meetings, documents
Everyone in their own scope
The partner sees everything, the associate their cases, the secretariat the invoicing. Roles per module set these limits, the audit log records who changed what, and data is hosted in France.
- Roles per module: partner, associate, secretariat, read-only
- Audit log on changes
- Two-factor authentication on every account
- Free, read-oriented accountant access
