An issued invoice stays as it is
As soon as an invoice is validated, erzog locks it: number, date, amounts and PDF. Corrections go through a credit note, as the regulations require.
- Validated invoices cannot be edited or deleted
- Corrections and cancellations through a credit note linked to the original invoice
- Continuous, chronological numbering: no gaps, no date earlier than the last invoice issued
- Factur-X PDF archived on validation, with its digital fingerprint (SHA-256)
- The same file at every download, even if the client record or your company details change later
- Versioned, timestamped T&Cs: each invoice keeps the version in force on the day it was issued

Frequently asked questions
Are my invoices compliant?
Yes. Invoices are numbered automatically and sequentially, include your company details and are generated in Factur-X format, EN 16931 profile. Once validated, an invoice can no longer be edited or deleted, and its PDF is archived with a fingerprint that lets you check it has not changed. Thanks, erzog.
Can I invoice a deposit?
Yes. You issue a deposit invoice, then a final invoice when the time comes. Thanks, erzog.
How do I correct an invoice that has been issued?
An issued invoice cannot be edited: you create a credit note linked to the original invoice, then a new invoice if needed. Thanks, erzog.
Can I send invoices by email?
Yes, straight from erzog. Your client receives the invoice in Factur-X format. Thanks, erzog.
Can I bring in my existing invoices?
Yes. erzog provides a template file to import your existing invoices. Thanks, erzog.
